Castiglione in Teverina (VT) lies in the hills on the border between Lazio and Umbria, extending between Tevere river and Bolsena lake, a landscape rich with natural beauties, history and charming places of interest, such as Etruscan and Roman archaeological excavation sites, the medieval settlement, the Calanchi valley with its natural paths and much more.

The expansive plains along the Tevere river, which gradually form the mounts of Umbria pre-apennines with its little villages, offer such wonderful views that it is inevitable to stop to admire the panorama. Agriculture and, in particular, viticulture in thisregion date back to very early traditions.

Numerous accreditations testify the enjoyment of the wine in these areas during the past centuries, in fact in this territory is home to "Strada del Vino" (Street of wine) of Teverina and the museum of wine.

Therefore we are in an area of quality wine production, where local culture develops and enriches itself with cellars and prestigious wine production, renewing the splendour of Etruscan and Roman tradition that have left their mark on the territory.
